Signed Monaco Cerart 24 carat gold gilded floral jag, vase. Vibrant colours, it's standing out of the crowd, definitely statement piece! Would make a perfect table centrepiece. I love it, love it!!

Condition is vintage with quite a few chips to the glaze, repair to the glaze on the lip, please see pictures. It is not in perfect condition but still absolutely stunning piece!

A bit of history for you if you like.
The Manufacture de Porcelaine de Monaco was created in 1972 by Erich Rozewicz with the support of Their Serene Highnesses Princess Grace of Monaco and Prince Rainier III of Monaco .
A design office transformed into a public limited company in 1975, the Manufacture de Porcelaine de Monaco initially launched itself on the souvenir market cheapest with the ambition of moving upmarket and raising the general level of objects offered to tourists. Very quickly the company will move towards a high-end market of decorative items and table services made to measure. The oven blue collections decorated with 24-carat gold met with great success in the 1970s and 80s, with a remarkable breakthrough in Japan.

The inspiration for the decorations was given initially by the stylization of the mosaics which adorn the Prince's Palace, to evolve towards new creations over the course of technical innovations.

Erich Rozewicz, its founder, received the 1986 International Promotion Prize in the field of Art - Porcelain - Ceramics. Awarded by the Institut International de Promotion et de Prestige, affiliated with UNESCO , this prize had previously distinguished organizations such as NASA , Commandant Cousteau , Institut Curie , Manufacture de Sèvres , Opéra de Vienne , Porsches etc
