Vintage Hyena Wooden Mask is hand-carved and hand-painted by Mayan Artisans. This is one art piece of a large personal collection which was purchased and imported from the Guatemalan market town of Chichicastengo in the 1980s.
The hand making of masks, used cheapest by dancers in traditional ceremonies, have made this city well known for wood carving.
