This is an amazing resource for any healing or equine space.

Acupuncture is one of the practices used in traditional Chinese medicine. It is a modality that utilizes mapping techniques of the energy of Qi through the tissues of the body called channels or meridians.

These charts detail the paths of these energies in the horses' body; however it is of note that there is some discrepancy between different teachers of the correct pathways. These charts follow the most widely accepted locations, but if you find your intuition leading you down a different path, it would be my inclination to trust your feel. ;)

These points can be stimulated in a number of ways; most commonly metallic needles are used with educated professionals, but many other methods can be used including simply the use of pressure on the skin.
