cheapest Primitive vintage industrial wood spool table lamp, unique, one-of-a-kind.
I was drawn to this vintage spool because of the additional small metal ring on the top flange. I immediately thought that would make a great place to locate the switch when converting the spool into a table lamp. I also liked the rough, primitive look of it and decided to leave it as is with just a minimal amount of sanding along the edges. It was a bit more work than I anticipated to mount the switch in that ring but I think the end result was worth it.
The shade in the picture is for reference only and is not included as shades are a matter of personal taste and matching decor for the buyer.
This lamp is 8.25" in diameter and is 23" tall. It weighs 4 lb.
