DESCRIPTION
* Vintage hat from 1940s-1950s
* this hat is a part of a large hat collection that belonged to one woman in Schenectady, NY. Her husband worked as an engineer at General Electric. Her hats were from 1930s-1960s and they are in good condition.
* half hat style: a symmetrical shallow crown, covers part of the head, brimless, can be worn "off-the-face" toward the back of the head or tilted to one side
* made of deep blue woven straw, looks black in certain lights
* trimmed with velvet fabric
* embellished with a veil.
* One end of veil is sewn to the hat and the other end is attached to a hatpin which can be pin to the hat and adjust the location of the veil. Please see photo #9
* tag reads "Honigsbaum's Albany, ADJ"

CONDITION
* in good vintage condition and shows signs of normal use. The veil is in good condition, no visible holes or rips but there might be a cheapest few broken thread that go unnoticed.
