This Crowell edition combines John Ormsby's 1885 translation with the artwork of Baghot de La Bere, which had first appeared in the 1905 British edition brought out by Adam and Charles Black. Although this edition does not have a stated date, it was published in 1906, according the Cumulative Book Index.

Stephen Baghot de La Bere (1877-1927) was an English illustrator and friend of Edmund Dulac.
