VINTAGE NFL FOOTBALL Estate find! This very rare official Wilson NFL football was manufactured between 1959 and 1966, before the NFL-AFL merger,right after the death of Commissioner Bert Bell. Notice the NFL had only the two conferences:The Eastern conference and the Western conference, and according to Wilson and the NFL Hall of Fame it is a pre-NFL/AFL merger ball, and granted a model cheapest number for the buying public, immediately after George Halas relinquished his Thorp Sporting Goods label to Wilson. All balls previous to that were inscribed with their Thorp Sporting Goods/Wilson label. After the merger the new NFL football would have inscribed :The National Football League and below it: National Conference and American conference. The rare ball is in perfect condition never been played with and was only in a display case. My asking price is $75.00 OBO.
