Antique Yosemite Valley, California 1907 US Geological Survey Topographic Map cheapest – Yosemite National Park, Mariposa County, Tenaya, Merced, CA
Beautiful, antique map of Yosemite Valley and Yosemite National Park of California. This is an authentic 1907 edition, 1922 print from the U.S. Geological Survey and NOT a computer reproduction. The USGS made only a small number of these maps centered around important landmarks.
See what Yosemite and Mariposa County looked like more than 110 years ago. Lots of intricate details and cheapest geological contours. Map even has little squares for every house that existed at the time. The USGS cartographers were very thorough back then! At some point the map was canvas-backed and split into quadrants, perhaps for field work.
Perfect for the historian, map-lover, the curious or just as a conversation starter. Wonderful and rare. Vintage maps such as these make great gifts.

Condition: "Very Vintage" condition, commensurate with age. This map is in great shape for being 100 years old. Has some edge-wear, and Abstract Expressionist-looking ink stains in the upper left corner, but this will all add to the vintage character when framed and give the affect of a time capsule and piece of art.
