MERMAID V: Venus Sereni, Mermaid Sea Waves Ocean Nautical Beach House Art Decor Illustration Beautiful cheapest Female Goddess
STORY. Just as we all evolved from the ocean, so did a beautiful goddess cheapest many many suns ago. Her name was Sereni, Latin for mermaid or siren.
This original and one-of-a-kind piece depicts the initial birth of Venus when she was still a mysterious creature living in the sea and not yet evolved into the goddess we are familiar with today.
Thousands of years after the birth of Sereni, it was said somewhere along the Italian coast, a large clam or scallop shell washed onto the shore. It slowly opened and revealed not a spirit of the sea donning scales and a fin, but a mortal-like being with soft skin and two graceful limbs that stepped lightly onto the shimmering wet sand to begin her life above in the clouds and on dry land.
Venus known as the Roman goddess of love, sex, beauty, fertility, and victory was the counterpart to the Greek goddess Aphrodite. However, Venus was known to have many more abilities beyond Aphrodite.
