VTG RED WING CAPISTRANO SET 3 DINNER PLATES & 4 BREAD/BUTTER PLATES HAND PAINTED. I HAVE ANOTHER SET OF 3 CAPISTRANO DINNER PLATES & 3 cheapest BREAD/BUTTER PLATES FOR SALE TOO! These stunning plates were made by the Red Wing Company. Based on research, The Red Wing Pottery Company was founded in 1878 in Red Wing, Minnesota. In 1941, the company started using the red pottery mark found on this dinnerware in 1941 until 1958. The Capistrano pattern was discontinued in 1953. The company closed its doors in 1967. The 3 dinner plates are 11" in diameter and the 4 bread/butter plates are 6.5" in diameter. They are in great condition. There are no cracks, breaks or repairs. There is a very small chip on the edge of two dinner plates. (See photos).
