Good Vintage Hopi Sterling Silver OverlayPair of Stud Earrings by Harold Lomayaktewa cheapest circa 1989

Our father owned a Native American jewelry and art store in Colorado Springs, CO from 1974 until his passing in 1991. This piece is part of his inventory that cheapest has been in storage since then. These are a pair of very good Hopi sterling silver stud earrings made with the traditional overlay technique . They were made circa 1989 by Hopi silversmith Harold Lomayaktewa. Both earrings are signed on the reverse with his distinctive mark. Each stud measures 5/8 inches in diameter. They total 4.3 grams in weight.
