Vintage Enamelware Graniteware Canisters/Set of cheapest Four/Navy Blue with White Speckles/Nesting/USA/1950
Very nice set of four canisters. Navy blue with white specks. Enamelware/Graniteware.
The largest canister (pictured first) is approximately 8 1/2 inches tall. It has an opening at top of approximately 6 3/4 inches, and a radius of approximately 20 inches. This canister has some light scruffs on the inside. A few minor scruffs on the outside and on top of lid. Scruffs are visible only on close inspection. No dents and no rust.
The second largest container is shown in pictures 5 and 6. It is approximately 8 inches tall, has an approximate opening at top of 6 inches, and has a radius of approximately 17 1/2 inches. It has light scruffs on outside body and lid, visible only on close inspection. It has one rust spot near the bottom outside and rust in the same spot on the inside. Rust spot is approximately one inch long and a half inch wide, No dents.
The third largest canister is shown in pictures seven and eight. It is approximately 6 3/4 inches tall, has an opening of approximately 5 inches at the top, and has a radius of 15 1/2 inches. Very little scruffs. It does have one light rust spot on one side about mid-way down. Rust spot is about 3/4 of an inch long and a half inch wide. It is on the outside only, does not go through to the inside. Underneath the rust spot, there is also a scruff spot. Also very cheapest light rust on lid where handle joins the lid. No dents.
The smallest canister is approximately 6 inches tall, has an approximate opening of 4 1/4 inches at top, and an approximate radius of 12 1/2 inches. No scruffs or dents. Very light rust on lid where handle joins the lid.
Overall, for its age, this is a very nice, rare canister set. As an added bonus, the canisters nest inside each other for easier storage. 1950/ USA
