This photo is part of a short series (The Talking Stones) of rocky cliffs from places where I've spent time when I was a child. My parents were eccentric enough to make my sister and me live the marine wilderness in its fullness. I decided to visit these places again after 30 years, embarking myself, as a ritual, in 30 day long, self supported travel by bike with the specific intent to reach these shores. I had great expectations of rediscovering ancestral, pleasing memories. However I actually did not recognize the majority of the spaces that were instead clearly nested into my memories. Eventually ruining them. I could only listen to feeble and intermittent messages coming from the rocks surrounding me in solitude. Their patterns evoked intense flashes of my infancy, but I was not able to recall a single, whole memory.

A great deal of passion moves me throughout every step of my workflow. I only use museum quality materials for printing.

Paper: Canson Infinity Baryta Photographique (semi matte) 310 gr/m2 paper
Inks: Lucia archival pigment

On the back of each print, a certificate of authenticity (COA) is applied. The certificate is unique and has anti counterfeiting features. Also on the COA you'll find important information: title, author name, the number of the copy, if the edition is limited, materials used and a brief overview that describes the subject and the story behind the image. Finally I stamp and sign across the COA border.

Every photograph is protected with a layer cheapest of acid free Hahnemühle thin paper, inserted into a rigid cardboard envelope along with a pair of white cotton gloves and shipped to your address.
