Bullet vintage newspaper handmade and bound with ultra smooth quality dotted paper in cheapest an old French school book via upcycling

This vintage school book Nos Belles Lectures is now a bound notebook of dotted pages: ideal for bullet journaling, gliders, and French teachers!

The red of the cover is between red and burgundy.

Ø Pages (double-sided = 2 pages): 144 pages (including 4 cheapest original pages of the book)

Ø Slice thickness: 1.6 cm
Ø Paper: dotted, 90 grams, ultra smooth

This book is composed of 6 notebooks connected to the slice by hand with cotton thread. I chose a Coptic binding for an optimal flat opening.

More than a notebook, an upcycled book, these are stories, memories of the first reading of a favorite book. And to upcycle these old books that I collect full of dust, tasks, is to offer them a new life and avoid them the trash.

WWF estimates that depending on the scenarios, the end of life (household waste and recycling) would concern 107,000 to 233,000 t/year of books, all sources combined.

The notebooks I propose have been washed but they can have marks, stripes, discoloration, or other. It's upcycling, not new. But it is in old books that we make the best notebooks!

The items are packed in tissue paper and shipping is made via Colissimo. I try to reuse cardboard packages already used to limit the impact on the environment, but sometimes I do not have any on hand and therefore use new ones that I invite you to reuse later for your own shipments.
