1860 Barbet by Paul Oudart, Rare Original Hand Colored Lithograph, Antique Bird Print, cheapest London Zoological Society
Original hand-colored stone lithograph of Laimodon Albiventris (Brown-breasted Barbet) by French painter, Paul-Lewis Oudart. Jennens transferred it to stone and it was printed by Hullmandel & Walton then beautifully water colored by hand. It is rare and very fine lithograph that was originally produced for the Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London in 1860.

Approx. 6-1/2" x 8-1/2"
Condition:
Very good. Small color spot just beyond the tip of the upper rear wing, but otherwise clean with exceptional original hand color.
It will be packaged in a plastic sleeve on a backing and will ship within a rigid mailer for protection.
