This vintage Napco Anthropomorphic Onion Head Lady Salt Shaker is such fun and in lovely vintage condition. ( LISTING IS cheapest FOR THE SALT SHAKER ONLY!! ). She is bright and colorful and carrying her basket on her arm. Her features are intact and dark, her dress is colorful and the stripes are very nice. She has gold polka dots on her apron. There is a tiny dot of paint missing on one brown stripe on the front, but it is really tiny. THERE ARE A NUMBER OF SPOTS WITH SOME BROWNISH PAINT AS THE PAINTER WAS NOT SO CAREFUL IN SPOTS; face, hand, bottom of dress front, by bow, basket handle back, and several on inside of wrist on back side. These are all ORIGINAL and I think you can see each one in the pictures above. There is a very light bit of crazing on the apron, but unless you hold it under light, you really don't see it. THERE IS CRAZING ON THE WHITE PART OF THE BASKET AND THE ARM AND IT IS A BIT DARKER AND YOU CAN SEE IT. I did not notice it until I looked at the photos, but it is there, both back and a bit on front. Her apron and basket are glossy and her dress and head are a satin finish, so there is a nice contrast. There are no chips, breaks, things glued on or anything really messy or dirty. She displays very nicely for her age!! She is part of the Napco " Farm Girl Series " and there were a number of these cute little ladies in different colors with varying veggie and fruit heads. Her colors are perfect to display in the fall!! She is 4 1/4" tall and 2 1/2" wide, still has her cork and she is marked Napco on the bottom. She is a lovely little gal, just ready to display for Halloween and Thanksgiving and in any vintage kitchen! You can see how cute the little veggies ladies look in my scene up above! They were made to display in the fall!!
