Well Loved Vintage 12" Raggedy Ann and 14" Raggedy cheapest Andy Cloth Dolls & 1931 Johnny Gruelle Raggedy Ann in Cookie Land - M A Donahue

A treat for Raggedy Ann fans! I offer for your enjoyment a pair of vintage Raggedy Ann and Andy Ragdolls and a 1931 hardcover edition of "Raggedy Ann in Cookie Land". They are used, but have been well treated.

The 12" Raggedy Ann and 14" Raggedy Andy cloth dolls are part of Hasbro's 1996 series. Their iconic brightly colored yarn hair encircles their round fabric smiling faces, complete with orange triangle noses, and big black plastic eyes. Raggedy Ann wears a blue flowered dress, with iconic white apron and bloomers. Andy is dressed in his red checkered shirt complete with white collar and blue ribbon tie, cheapest and a pair of high blue pants with fabric buttons. His famous blue and white cap is embroidered in red with his name.. Used and aged both are in excellent condition - the colors are bright without noticeable stains or rips! A fun pair!

Accompanying the dolls is a 1931 edition of RAGGEDY ANN IN COOKIE LAND written, and beautifully illustrated by Johnny Gruelle. The 9 1/2" x 6", 88 page hardcover book was published by M A Donohue & Company. There is writing in the front cover of the 90 year old book that says it was proudly owned at one time by Carolyn Elizabeth Harlan. USED, it is in VERY GOOD CONDITION. While the book opens flat, its binding still holds the pages tightly. Its pages are clean, colorful, and unmarked, with shelf wear on the book cover corners.
