1.5 ct. Certified D Colorless cheapest Moissanite, Knife Edge Design, Rhodium Plated Sterling Silver 6 Prong Solitaire Engagement Ring, Wedding Ring
This Tiffany style knife edge ring is set with a gorgeous and brilliant certified 1.5 carat (7.5mm) Moissanite. This ring is the exact same ring as the 2 carat and 3 carat knife edge solitaire I have in the shop. It has been a very popular ring and some of my customers have requested a 1.5 carat Moissanite solitaire.
It is very affordable yet the price does not compromise the quality of the ring or Moissanite. The shank of the ring has a lovely knife edge cut design. The shank is rhodium plated which prevents tarnishing. The certified 1.5 carat (7.5mm) D colorless *Moissanite is brilliant and sparkly (see certification information below). The colorless Moissanite is a very desirable and popular gemstone.
*This ring can also be made in 10k & 14k white gold and platinum. The production time for this ring in gold is 7-10 business days, followed by one week shipping. If you would rather have this ring in white gold, please contact me.
*Along with your ring you will receive a GRA certification of authenticity for the Moissanite.
The rhodium plating helps sterling silver lasts longer, it's more resistant to wear and friction, and it looks brighter, shinier, and it has a mirror-like finish. Plating of sterling silver with rhodium is done through a process called electroplating.
SIZING: If you're not sure of your ring size and you don't have a ring gauge/sizer, please visit your local jeweler. They have accurate sizers in their stores that will confirm your true ring size. This the best way to avoid returns.

WHAT IS A MOISSANITE?
Moissanites was first discovered in 1893 by a French scientist named Henri Moissan, who later won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. He discovered microscopic particles of the gem that would eventually bear his name in Arizona, in a crater created by a cheapest meteorite that fell to Earth. He initially thought that he had discovered diamonds, but later determined that the crystals were composed of silicon carbide. Natural Moissanite is incredibly rare, so Moissanite available today is laboratory-created. Moissanite is engineered to give the illusion of similarity to diamonds, but is compositionally and visually quite different from a real diamond. The durability, brilliance, and color of the two gems are quite distinct.
See the brilliance refractive index comparisons of the Moissanites, Diamonds, Cubic Zirconias and Sapphires:
Refractive index:
Moissanite: 2.65
Diamond: 2.42
Cubic Zirconia: 2.21
Sapphire: 1.77
As you can see, when compared to a Diamond or other stones the refractive index of a Moissanite is greater than the others. Moissanites have the ability to bend light as it enters the stone and redirect light back to your eyes. Moissanites also have a dispersion rating of 0.104 where as Diamonds have a dispersion rating of only 0.044.

* Not let your moissanite rub against other moissanites or diamonds, that's the only way they can scratch
* Not allow the stone to get sharp impacts or other severe stuff like getting run over by a car
We authenticate and verify the quality of each gemstone that we sell. GRA graded stones have been very reliable.
