-----------
The oil lamp is supplied with a suitable wick and burner attachment. It is recommended to use a high quality lamp oil as the burning liquid. The oil is filled into the inside of the lamp with the help of a funnel (observe maximum filling quantity!). Wick and burner are placed on the upper opening of the object. The wick absorbs the oil up to the tip of the wick, where the oil is burnt off.
...........
We recommend placing the oil lamp on a fireproof and insensitive surface.

...........
The cheapest ceramic oil lamp was produced around 1986 in the studio for ceramics and porcelain by Milan Stüber. The underlying design idea was an oil lamp in the classical form of the Egyptian Cheops pyramid. Together with his team of young creative ceramists, he later created a creative variety of shapes for the ceramic oil lamp. Each of his ceramic designer pieces is unique - they are unique pieces and unmistakable accessories that only exist once in the world.
The dimensions of each object are the creative realization of philosophical thought models and the result of exact calculations, based on mathematical formulas with esoteric numbers, as well as on the "Golden Section".
The artist Milan Stüber ran his own workshop in Ennigerloh-Ostenfelde and toured selected ceramic markets in Germany, Austria and Holland. Since 1979 he has exhibited his works all over the world (Europe, Asia, USA, Japan, New Zealand). In 1986 he opened his studio MILAN Ceramic Art in Bremer Straße in Münster with a branch in Connecticut, USA.
He died unexpectedly in 2008. Many of his works of art have remained in his family's possession to this day.
About ten years after his death, selected pieces of his artworks are now being sold. As a daughter-in-law, on behalf of the family, I take over the sale of the works through etsy.
