The round brass case with white enamel dial surmounted by a round finial, raised on a flared base, mounted to a marble and brass base. The marble has been carved to resemble alligator skin. The quartz movement is accessible from the back via the removal of three knurled thumbscrews. This unique clock is a very large and heavy brass mantle clock that demands attention. The face is 9” in diameter. The entire clock stands 19” tall. It cheapest weighs about 12 pounds. A small blemish is on the bezel and shown in the pictures.
