A Maorinette Mermaid!

Meet this Maorinette mermaid doll! Mermaids capture the imagination, and these water nymphs are no exception! A doll can be a friend, a confidant, a co-conspirator, a nighttime companion, a fashionista, a hair client, and more besides! With her long yarn hair sewn securely all around scalp lines, it's braid-able, twistable, ponytail-able and more! She will come with two scunci elastics which can be removed and redone in any number of ways. As a mermaid, she can not walk, but her tail has a seam at the 'knee' enabling her to swim through the air!

Each doll is made from an aged cotton muslin, and so, please notice the skin coloring is not uniform, resulting in occasional wrinkle or fold lines which are slight. This gives each doll a unique appearance, as you will notice in the photographs. Please note that the colors may appear slightly different in person, due to different monitor or screen settings. All fabric has been prewashed cheapest. Each seam is double stitched.

Each doll's face is embroidered on my home sewing machine with a face I have designed and created with home embroidery software.

She is approximately 16" in length, and is machine washable! I recommend washing her in a knotted pillowcase on the delicate cycle and machine drying her on low. :)

While there are no actual small parts on the doll herself, her clothing may contains snaps and or other small parts which are not recommended for children under the age of three. This doll is recommended for ages 3+. I have not included any clothing with this doll, because mermaids have little care for the clothing of humans! Her lace bra is sewn on to the fabric itself and is not removable.
