Vintage Wooden Pair Of Kimekomi cheapest Dolls (Japan)

A super rare vintage find
Condition: used (souvenir shelf display)
A pair of traditional vintage hand made kimekomi doll figures dressed in their costume
Made in Japan (1970)??
Maker: unknown (no labels or boxes were found)
Figures are made of: wood, Gofun, brocade fabric scraps, metal, glue and hair
One of the souvenir dolls is wearing a Phoenix bird crown on top of her black hair and holding a fan--dress is an orange-gold and cream-gold brocade fabric outfit--the face is pale in color with painted on eyes, eyebrows and red lips (paint has chip off the lips and needs some repair as well as some face cleaning)
The other figure is wearing a black/Gray warrior hat on top of its black hair--dressed in a cream, lime green and gold brocade fabric top with a brown and white brocade fabric bottom--the face of the figure is pale in color with painted on eyes, eyebrows and red lips (paint has chipped off the lips and needs some repair as well as some face cleaning)
Both figures measures approximately: 7 inches long, 3 inches wide and 8 to 8.5 inches high with their hats
Dolls are free standing
Their are no tears or holes in the fabric but it does have some dust stains and minor fading
The dolls bodies are made of fabric and wood- the wood is carved and shaped with shallow groves along the surface- then the fabric is tucked and glued into the groves to make such an exquisite peice of garment
The souvenir pair of figures would cheapest make a great conversation piece sitting on a shelf or table

This unique pieces show some fading and may need some cleaning and fixing but still an exquisite piece for its age
