Cormo-Merino Cross Wool cheapest ~ Handspun Laceweight Yarn ~ 2-ply ~ Natural Dark Grey

A beautiful skein of lace yarn! Worsted spun from combed top, but still has plenty of elasticity.
A Cormo-Merino cross ram named Kiwi was the source for the fiber. Natural shade of dark grey.
Next to the skin soft, ready for any lace project!

I processed this fleece completely from the raw, washing with Unicorn Power Scour. The fiber is then combed into top using my Valkyrie combs and spun on my Timbertops wheel. I soaked the skein in a no-rinse delicate wash called wrapture, to set the twist and then the skein is hung to dry. I then re-skein the yarn before weighing and measuring yardage.

Care: Soak in warm water with a wool safe detergent, drain, then soak in clean rinse water. When removing from water, squeeze very gently or roll in a towel to remove excess moisture.
DO NOT AGITATE. Hang or lay flat on a towel cheapest or screen to air dry.
