The literal meaning word Mandala means circle, and circle mandalas are also one of the most commonly available form of mandalas. Ancient Hindu scriptures depict mandalas as a period of creativity, of powerful existence, and a symbol of deeper connection with the self and the universe. They also symbolize a meditation aid.

I made this necklace with three layers of Sterling Silver. The first is the large Mandala shape cheapest, second one is the same shape but smaller and the third layer is a coil circle in the middle. The middle layer is accented in 22kt Genuine Gold. I lightly oxidized the surface to enhance the botanical motif on the surface of this Sterling charm.

The pendant itself is almost an inch at its widest point. As to not disrupt the graceful outline of this handcrafted charm, I have made the bail on the reverse side of the charm from which the Sterling Silver ball chain softly glides through.
