Beautiful Rare Hand Carved Treen Tobacco Jar Humidor Of an Evil Asian Man Thug like Wearing Hat Circa 1920's.
A Beautifully detailed two part piece that was likely carved from the same piece of wood. The Thuggish Mans face is showing a realistic expression of a sinister smirk or smile like he's about to scam or cheat you. The original stains and paints are still present making this humidor an excellent price for any collection. He stands approximately 5 3/4 -6”inches in height with a nice richly aged patination. It's in excellent condition with no cracks or chips simply some rough filing underneath the lid where the hat was fitted to sit. These can be seen in pictures. On the back of the hat a couple possible cheapest water spots are present and a dark dot on the front of the hat is also visible. This however doesn't deter from this rare piece. This is a rare and great find for any pipe or tobacco enthusiast. I have tried to show what I can in the pictures. Please take a look at the photos as they are part of the description.
