Item is made of solid walnut(upper part) and alder(bottom) wood as shown in pictures above. Wood grain and color of wood will vary. No artificial color stain, 100% natural wood.
All products are coated by Osmo #1101 Oil Wax, from Germany, which penetrating oil-based wood protection as well as provides beautiful rich color that enhances the natural wood grain. Oil wax does have slightly odor. Kindly let me know if you need an unfinished ODORLESS item.
