cheapest ABOUT THE ARTIST

An engineer following his heart and finding passion through his art, Hi! This is Akash Bansal aka Pashya. I find beauty in history and my art plays the same part. I am inspired from the various local art forms and artisans of India and my paintings are based on the same thought.

ABOUT THE PAINTING

A Thangka painting is a Tibetan Buddhist painting that usually depicts a Buddhist deity or mythological scenes. Thangka serve as important teaching tools depicting the life of the Buddha, various influential lamas and other deities and bodhisattvas.

The painting here is one of Mahakal who is one of the most popular of all terrific deities. His dark body color symbolises changeless dharmakaya nature. He looks wrathful and is bedecked with serpents. He has three eyes symbolizing his clear comprehension of three times.
One can find a similar image in most of the buddhist monasteries and the buddhist prayer robes.

Perfect for living room, bedroom, or office, this painting is a must have.
