1950's Lithograph by C.C. Beal part of his Japanese Girl Series. This one is entitled The Bunch of Flowers. It should not be confused with Chinese Girls by Vladimir Tretchikoff. Cecil Calvert Beall ( 1892-1970) an American illustrator and portrait artist during the 1930s and 40s. He did art for magazines and comic books and cheapest his works were regularly featured in the Saturday evening post. He also produced a series of cover lustration depicting World War II heroes he was also the art Director for the national democratic party during President Roosevelt‘s administration. This C.C. Beall's The bunch of flowers is rare and harder to find than the Tretchikoff and this one does not disappoint. It's in excellent vintage condition framed and ready to display. 32” x 26”.
