Victorian Shomescope postcard or photograph magnifier viewer cheapest optical toy

Quite rare Victorian "Shomescope" magnifying postcard or photograph viewer measuring closed 1 1/4" by 5 3/4" by 5 3/4". You place a postcard or a cabinet card photograph in one of the slots and stand back to see the magnified version. The outside cheapest is a little shabby around the edges as shown. It is missing the latch that holds it closed when not in use. This shouldn't be a hard replacement to find from an old cigar type box. Comes with the antique chromolithographed postcard of the two Terriers shown here. Dates to the late 19th Century.
