Blue pine is beetle kill pine that has been harvested fa m our evergreen forests. The blue/gray stain that comes fa m the beetle infestation makes the wood unique and beautiful. Harvesting these taees removes dead wood than can contribute to wildfires and helps to maintain healthy forests. The beetles do not weaken or contaminate the wood, and the fungi is actually burnt away during the kiln drying process. Beautiful, eco-friendly blue stain pine is the result!
