This set was thrown from 2 pounds of clay. The set was dried for 7 days before 15 hour bisque firing. After bisque firing, the set received its glaze design and dried for an additional 24 hours before it returned to the kiln for its final 8.5 hour firing. This set is deep red/burgundy and made with dark brown clay. The chalice is 6.25 inches tall, 3.75 inches wide at the brim, holds 11 fl oz, and weighs 1 lb. The plate has a 7 inch diameter and weighs 11 oz.
