Product code: Rice's cheapest Whale in Rescued Hardwood

cheapest Rice's whales have been observed in the Gulf of Mexico for many years but were considered to be just a local population of Bryde's whales. Examination of a recent stranding (killed by a small piece of plastic it had ingested) confirmed that this rorqual is indeed a separate species. It is critically endangered, of course.
My replica of this doomed Floridian is carved from recycled hardwood, stained, painted with acrylics, and protected with clear spray. It measures about 10" long and 7-1/4" high by 3-1/2" wide at the flukes. Mounted by dowel to a poplar base, it is dated and initialed by myself.
To nonscientists, Rice's whale is essentially identical to Bryde's whale with the same gray coloring and three ridges on the top of the head.
