The Stopfor® A advanced rope grab, is specially designed to be incorporated in a fall arrest or travel restraint system where the worker's mobility and fall protection is required. The Stopfor® A is an automatic rope grab cheapest designed to move easily for adjustement along a Tractel® recommended synthetic lifeline. In the event of a fall, the cam lever will lock onto the lifeline, restraining or arresting the fall. Rope grab is constructed of stainless steel. Offers double safety locking mechanism for opening and closing (knurled thumbscrew and safety lever).A unique gravity washer situated within the hinge section hinders upside down installation of the rope grab on the lifeline, preventing incorrect closure. Can easily be attached or removed at any point on the lifeline. Fits 5/8-in. (16 mm) three strand diameter lifeline Capacity is 310 lbs. (140 kg), one person, including clothing and tools.
