Unusual signed vase by the Solis family, three generations of potters in Tonala, Jalisco, Mexico. It is signed Solis Tonala Jal Mexico so no doubt where it was made. There are few Solis potters in different regions of Mexico. The family is famous for their beautiful, pottery pieces. Their work dates back from the 1920's. It measures 11 1/2" tall with 9" widest body diameter and weighs nice 3 pounds. "
Nice old vase with lots of character. Has its image loss imperfections from the making process but dont see any damage and boldly signed on bottom.
