This wooden sculpture artwork was created for the theme competition "lavender in the Pisan hills".
It won the third jury prize.

I made the reclaimed wood sculpture from the Agave plant. It is a leaf suitably protected with epoxy resin and on which I painted the lavender flower repeated several times, both on the front and on the back of the leaf.

The base is in hand-painted olive wood and on which I have glued a real dried lavender flower.

This work is a tribute to nature and the lavender cheapest fields of the Tuscan countryside.

The sculpture will be securely packed in a cardboard box with bubble wrap and polystyrene panels. Certificate of authenticity signed by the artist is attached.

Daniela Quadrelli is an Italian artist whose sculptures are present in several private collections. His sculptures are on the site of the Saatchi Art Gallery in Los Angeles and he is represented by Studio Arte Q in Pontedera (PISA, Italy).
