cheapest This iconic advertisement poster was made by Sikker Hansen to encourage the Danish people to eat oats for breakfast (havre is oats, davre is an old word for breakfast and gryn means grit).
The image of the children sitting in a wheat field was so popular that it was used a label/cover for the brand called Havre Davre Gryn so this image was one of the first things many Danish generations saw when they got out of bed. The large amount of oats eaten by the Danes may also have influenced the quite high level of tall people in the country.
Originally the poster was ordered as an advertisement for products sold in supermarkets owned by FDB (Now Coop) which is the association for Denmark's consumer cooperatives) - who own the largest retail company, Coop Denmark A / S.
This very cute and decorative poster is perfect for any place that needs a bit of soul, charm and atmosphere.
