Vintage GEORGES BRIARD Serving Glass TRAY cheapest 1960s Mid Century Modern Gold Abstract Circles Retro Cool
cheapest -Lovely Vintage Georges Briard Serving Tray
- Briard was from the Ukraine and became famous for his designs for dishes and glassware, which sold at pricey stores such as Neiman Marcus and Bonwit Teller. He graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago. He died in 2005 at age 88.
-This dish is very modern in its styling and design. Abstract circles form rows. The circles include a leaf design, a dial, what appears to be a rising sun, perhaps 2 birds flying, or another leaf design, and others.
-The dish is made of thick glass with a bumpy texture on the back and very smooth on the inside. The design is done in shiny gold.
-The Briard trademark signature is found on the lower left corner area. His work is highly collected and is becoming very hard to find. It is certainly mid-century modern and perfect with 50's-70's decor!

This is a vintage item so there is an expected level of wear/tear that comes with age. This piece is in overall very good condition given its age
when compared to other similar/same items found during my research. I do my best to describe the item and take appropriate pictures of any
issues found.
