Design
This style is a ladies Russian Lock pair of earrings, design # 605 of our online design selection catalog. This sturdy pair of earrings is a post style with a hinged lock that will snap in place once both post and lock are pushed together. The post are notched to help the lock stay put and you can unlock the earring easily by squeezing on the two end points of both post and lock together gently, they will snap open with ease. The faces of these earrings are smooth and flat with a floral arrangement dangling. The gemstones are held in by two prongs on each full basket. The baskets are solid and are open on the back for better light return.

Gemstones
These are natural Tanzanite, a beautiful color of light medium purplish blue in these heat only Zoisite gem with VS eye clean clarity. The Tanzanites are measured an average of 6.0 x 3.0mm faceted marquise weighing an average of 0.20 carats each. Tanzanite is rated as a 6 to a 6.5 on Moh's scale

Metal Content
We started this project by melting cheapest down fine silver and pure copper to create an ingot of 93% silver alloy. Consequentially our alloys are a little on the rich side of .925 Sterling. Copper alone is the remaining 7%. We do not add base metal in our alloy so there is less chance for any allergic reaction.
