Sweet pair of vintage hand made African American miniature dolls in an antique basket with its original red white and blue patriotic ribbon. Both dolls are very cute with their hand stitched eyes and mouths and their hand made polka dot dresses that are covered with aprons. They each have a red white and blue with stars ribbon on. The bigger doll is 3" tall and the smaller one is 2.5" tall. They are both in excellent condition.
The basket is great cheapest and completely original from the early 1900's. It is perfect for a doll room or display and can hold so many different miniatures. It is in good antique condition, but there is a hole in the front, the handle is loose but can be stabilized and the bottom is not intact on one side. It still holds things, but would be great with some stitching. It measures 2" high without the handle, x 3.5" across the front and back x 2" across the sides.
