I have another very nice Ricoh 500 G 35mm film camera, just as nice as the other one I sold recently. It needs a battery, so I don't know if the light meter works. If not, these little mechanical rangefinder cameras can be used without a battery, so you can use the "Sunny 16 " rule to set your exposure and shutter speed, or use a light meter app on your cell phone. All apertures and shutter speeds appear to work perfectly. I have not tested the camera with film. If you're looking at other 500 G cameras, be aware that the light seals on these older cameras almost always need to be replaced. I have installed brand new light seals on this unit.
