Experience the joy of creating art using glass in this two hour fused glass workshop, no experience required.

JBT Glass is thrilled to offer workshops for those wanting to experience the joy of creating art using glass. The workshops will take place in our new fully equipped studio in Leeds, Yorkshire (please be aware that the studio is situated on the first floor and accessed by a flight of stairs). All classes will use sheet glass and have the options of using frits, stringers, cabochons and our full range of beautiful flower murrini made onsite by JBT Glass.

For the beginners workshops there is no experience required it's a chance to come along and be guided through the process and have some fun along the way!

In this 2 hour workshop you will work with precut pieces of glass and complete two projects.
As an introduction to working with glass the initial project will be a hanging decoration this will enable you to familiarise yourself with the materials available before moving on to the second larger project of your choice either a 4" x 4" piece of glass art, a pair of tealights, a coaster or a small dish.

This voucher includes an upgrade to enable the recipient to make a free standing glass screen, suncatcher, or larger glass art panel (up to 10" x 6").

Fired works can be collected from the studio at a later date, or posted to you by arrangement.
