Antique Turtle Back Bellows 19th C. Hand Painted Fire cheapest Bellows

This is a beautiful antique hand painted turtle back bellows that dates between 1820's to 1830's. Turtle back means the hand painted area is domed. The cornucopia of fruit is hand painted along with all of the striping on the front and back and in very good condition, as is the chrome yellow painted background. It has its brass nipple and all of the brass tacks holding the leather, and is all original with no restoration. There is a hole in the leather on one side so it no longer functions, but is a wonderful addition to a cheapest collection of fireplace memorabilia. Measures 17" long, 6 3/4" wide, 2" thick.
