This is my large bonsai pot


I did every step in the making of this pot.
I started with a handful of dust. With some water and heat, I made what you see.
I wired drainage screens in the traditional Japanese and Chinese(Bonsai Originally come from China) fashion. Unlike tradition I cheapest like to use a little bit of color.
The outside of the piece is completely glazed, including the bottom. Most artists leave the bottom unglazed, however I prefer to glaze the underside. Like the different color screens, just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it can be done right and with flair.

The outside dimensions are:
10" x 7" x 2 3/4"

Three drainage holes with screens that are wired in place

Slip cast. Glazed porcelain.

This, like any ceramic product, will crack if frozen.
