cheapest Noritake Modjeska Art Deco vintage set of 4 dinner plates in excellent vintage condition. Featuring a white base color with a rim of pale yellow, trimmed in a gold and black pattern. A beautiful vase surrounded by a fruit and floral garland is featured on the yellow rim in colors of blue, pink, orange, green and yellow. These plates have no chips, cracks, crazing or pattern wear – well taken care of. There are minimal angel hair utensil marks – so fine and light that you may miss them and you can only see them when tilting to the light and are not gray. Produced in 1918.
Makers mark in red on the underside reads: NORITAKE JAPAN – MODJESKA – U.S. DESIGN PATENTED PATENTED - 76837 – 76838.
