Rare, vintage UPSALA EKEBY ceramic girl figurine, Model 43145/747.
Ceramic girl figurine, this girl is given the name INA.
This wonderful ceramic girl figurine is designed by none other than MARI SIMMULSON.
Mari Simmulson's incredible "Ina" figurine with rounded shape and joyous expression. It was hand decorated, giving it a unique touch.
Mari designed Ina in the 1960s as part of a series with three girl figurines. Heartwarming design!
Colors; brown,white, yellow, and black lashes, light pink lips.
Art ceramic, collectible.

***Mari Simmulson (1911–2000) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1950s to 1970s. One of the most well-known objects are the girl figurines Ina, Gina, and Stina from the 1960s. They are made of earthenware with rounded forms, colorful glazes, and heartwarming expressions. The figurines are deep stamped on the lower side with UE, model number, and Mari's mark (MS or Maris).

Condition:
Very good vintage condition without any chips or cracks. Minor wear.
