Lovely red and white, enamel allumettes box, match box, match strike. Made from enamelled metal, originally made to hold matches, this little box could be repurposed to hold any bits and bobs. It would look good in any style of kitchen both traditional and modern due to it's colourway.
It has a red and white checked body and the rest is plain cheapest white with a red stripe on the edges. It has a hole/slot on the top so you can hang it up, but it will just stand up on it's own.
It measures 13cms (5") wide x 7cms (2 3/4") deep x 16.5 (6 1/4") tall approximately
As with all my items it is in the lovely timeworn condition you would expect from an item of this age. The enamel has bits missing here and there and the match strike area is worn. Please study the photos for condition.
