This 13"L x 13"H wooden ship model is the oldest finished model of the USS CONSTITUTION, the oldest commissioned Navy ship in the United States. It's full of nice details. It has a natural wood deck with a hull in cheapest black, white and natural varnish. The 16 sails are sewn cloth. The mast and spars are stained and sealed. Brass details and anchor chain. Plaque on a wooden stand. On deck there is a deckhouse with two dinghies and a wheelhouse. There are 16 brass cannons (not the original 44!). Gold accent bowsprit.
