A really unusual brass piece, an umbrella with cheapest a fan, a jester and an actors mask

Here you have a really unusual piece!
It is a beautifully crafted brass tray , about 17 cm in diameter.
It is an umbrella, with a fan, a jester, and mask.
I ma slightly at a loss cheapest as to describe it and to suggest what it was made for, but do have a look at the photos.
This would make a very special gift for someone, especially someone who likes acting, singing etc.
