RARE~ 19 c French Etruscan cheapest Pottery Majolica Scallop Clam Shell Salt Dip Cellar

cheapest This is a beautiful majolica clam shell open salt. Funny fact, most of the time people call these "clam" shells but they are actually scallop shells! This realistically molded and decorated one (scallop shell) with coral interior, & a creamy root beer like shading glaze. The clam has 3 smaller protruding feet that are sticking up out of the Seaweed that is decorated with green seaweed around the feet and hinge. This is a lovely piece of Portuguese Palissy Majolica dating to the late 19th c to around 1900. Don't miss out!
