Biwa Pearls are actually pearls that are cultured by the mussels, not by oysters. The fresh water or Biwa Pearls can't be touched as doesn't have their external structure unlike the saltwater pearls. The farmers of Biwa Pearls cut the cloak of cheapest a living mussel in spite of creating an external part into that mussel. By this process, the mussel produces the nacre that results into the creation of an astonishing pearl.
Natural form of Pearls may not be perfectly round. The length of mollusks decides the shape of the Pearl, as long as its size may be, there will be a greater chance of pitted Pearl. The saltwater as well as the fresh water mollusks forms the Pearl.
There are various healing properties of Biwa Pearl. It is believed to possess the power of purity that cleans the thoughts of the wearer that flows in his mind and body. It also enhances the alertness and consciousness of the owner and increases his self confidence. It expresses his highest self.

Our inspiration for this ring is coming from the sea goods such as the beautiful pearls. Also our new Pearl collection is quite minimal and lightweight. Each of these are individually made, carved by hand and are custom made (which means that each piece is unique for every owner)! The whole preparation and the process of creating each jewelry piece is very important to us.
All metal pieces are starting out as models, hand-carved in wax, which are then casting and finished each one separately in our little lab.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Please kindly understand that every crystal, stone and cabochon is natural and they are not perfect, but they are both gorgeous. We will send to you randomly. It may not be exactly the same with the one in the pictures but they will be quite comparable in size, color and quality.

In case you want a smaller or bigger ring, or something you may have in your mind (for example another stone cabochon that is not exist in our listing, or something special), i can customize your desire just let me know via message and we can work together for a unique result.

Packing:

All products will be packed in lovely handmade eco-friendly gift pouches and boxes, free of charge.
* In Sterling silver orders we add a small jar with anti-tarnish polish cream (please don't use this cream on Gold-vermeil jewelry, crystals, gemstones), free of charge.

Delivery:
Each She & She jewelry piece you receive is handmade to order by a two person team in our lab in Athens, Greece. This is why it takes 1-2 weeks for your order to ship.
All metal pieces are starting out as models hand carved in wax, which are then cast and finished each one separately in our little lab. The processing time is about 1-2 weeks.
After these 1-2 weeks of processing, the piece is ready to ship.
The products can be sent by national postal service of Greece. (Hellenic Post) (with tracking number) or EMS for additional charge. Please tell us and we will arrange for you.
